We offer services in document and book binding and repairs. We bind project works, reports and any other document that you may want to bind.
Follow the steps below to get this service rendered to you;
• Submit an application letter to the Director, PRAAD
• Bring or arrange with staff for document(s) to be brought to the Preservation Services Branch, PRAAD.
• Documents are examined or diagnosed to ascertain the state.
• Cost estimates are submitted to clients.
• Completion time of the job depends on the volume of work.
• Clients are notified when job is completed.
Consultancy and Advisory Services
We offer consultancy and advisory services in the following areas;
• Development of Records Management Policies for organizations
• Development of Records Classification Schemes
• Development of organizational specific retention and disposition policies and schedules
• Decongestion and Reorganization of Records Offices
• Setting up of Records Centres/Records Stores
• Setting up of Records Offices/Registries
Digitization (Scanning and Indexing Services) Services
We provide organizations with a one-stop-shop service in scanning and indexing their manual records into digital formats. We offer this service at very cost effective rates and encourage all our clients and potential clients to take advantage of this service.
Training
We offer training in all facets of records management and archiving to both public and private sector institutions. We encourage everyone to take advantage of the rich experience that our facilitators from their several years of experience in the field and upgrade their practical skills in the field of record keeping and archiving.
